Early sketch from Frank Lloyd Wright

This jewelry line was adapted from details of the intricate brass altar screen Wright designed for the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin in 1956 - just three short years before his death. The circle theme repeated in the screen reflects the circular floor plan of this lovely building with its reflecting pool.

The White House Gift Shop Jewelry Collection focuses on jewelry designs inspired by great American architecture. The first collection for 2014 is inspired by the American architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Each piece in this collection is handmade in the USA, authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright foundation, gift boxed with the official FLW Foundation art design, and includes a White House Gift Shop Cetificate of Appreciation and Authenticity as well as a White House Gift Shop official gold seal on the bottom of your gift box for an exquisite presentation or collectible.

Later this year, we will introduce unique jewelry inspired from American National architecture and motifs in Washington D.C. including the White House. Jewelry in the forthcoming collections are abstract art treatments of national architecture and designed to set a new standard for fashion pieces with architectural and American historical style.
