The 2024 Official White House Historical Association Ornament honors President Jimmy Carter across his life cycle from childhood to the road to becoming the 39th President of the United States to his great post-presidency philanthropy. The ornaments overall anchor shape, itself, suggests hope, stability, and reflects Carter's dedicated service to America in the United States Navy. The ornamental keepsake box is an heirloom feature with a full color image of the White House on its cover, a perfectly inset velvet well in which the ornament perfectly rests, a red tree ribbon, and an informative booklet that describes the life of Jimmy Carter from childhood to his presidency and beyond.

While the anchor suggests hope, the ornament's doves represent peace because of Carter's resolve to achieve peace in the Middle East, partially signified on March 26, 1979 at the White House North Lawn signing of the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty—recently threatened, at least in words, consequent of the war between Israel and Hamas. Also represented in symbols: Seawolf-class USS Jimmy Carter (SSN-23), a Globe suggestive of Carter's dedication to environmental protection & conservancy, and a Garland of Peanut Flowers depicting his early years as a peanut farmer in Plains, Georgia.

As always, I love the new ornament commemorating former President Jimmy Carter. I've been collecting every year since 2000.  My ornaments have a tree of their own.
